Defining, Staffing and/or Managing Cross-Cultural and Multi-Functional Work Teams

Due Diligence (project evaluations including budget and financial analysis; designing and evaluating project scopes, deliverables and timelines; technology and/or network analyses; multi-function and cross-cultural team designs and evaluations; senior management characteristics and capabilities; policy and legal analyses; project contracts, terms and/or conditions; conditions of assets; related items)

Due diligence is the process of systematically evaluating information (i.e. verifying that information is what it is proposed to be and assessing circumstances surrounding a current or proposed situation). A due diligence is usually carried on by a party (such as a consulting firm) who is not affiliated with the situation or issue being evaluated, but has the experience and expertise to understand the context and relevant issues that exist and/or may arise during the due diligence process.

Due diligence work is generally conducted for a client who is contemplating a new project or investment, business transaction (such as an acquisition or merger), or related matter that can impact an organization and its investments and operations. The primary purpose for conducting a due diligence is to ensure that a client is provided all information with which to evaluate the pros, cons, risks, and issues involved and underpinning a potential investment, project or strategic action.

Global Resources conducts a thorough due diligence as part of every client project; the intensive, multi--faceted assessment often includes political, economic, regulatory/policy, technical, historical, legal, financial, organizational, managerial and other context-specific issues. To learn more about our due diligence work, please review any of our projects on our Geographic Experience page.

ICT Professional Development

For more than twelve years, Global Resources designed and delivered a full-range of management education programs for technical and senior professionals seeking a "MBA" type education (mbapowerpak.com/Global_Resources.html). Via programs that ranged from ½ day seminars to multi-day accredited courses, we educated over 3500 senior managers from over forty-five nations in state-of-the-art managerial, strategic planning, competitive service marketing, information technology, financial analysis, and related operational, organizational, and interpersonal business concepts.

While we no longer offer MBA PowerPak or our other 20+ programs, our consulting professionals continue to utilize these core materials in our client work, particularly with ICT and infrastructure projects that involve accelerating rates of technological change, new service and operational models, and the complex planning (associated financial, institutional and organizational challenges) that arise from these market forces. We also draw upon this institutional competency when conducting our due diligence work, and we continue to share these valuable models and tools as part of our ongoing technology (knowledge) transfer with all our clients.
